Northern India Institute of Fashion Technology, Mohali, (Plot No. B-68, Industrial Area, Phase-7, Mohali, Ph: 0172-5044994-95) established in 1995 by Govt of Punjab in collaboration with National Institute of Fashion Technology (Ministry of Textiles Govt of India, New Delhi), has invited applications for admission to the following Diploma/ Post Graduate Diploma programmes commencing from July, 2008 at Mohali & Ludhiana centers:

1. Fashion Design
Eligibility: 10+2
Duration: 3 years

2. Textile Design
Eligibility: 10+2
Duration: 3 years

3. Fashion Design Knits
Eligibility: 10+2
Duration: 3 years

4. Garment Manufacturing Technology
Eligibility: Graduate
Duration: 2 years

5. Knitwear Design & Technology
Eligibility: Graduate
Duration: 2 years

6. Fashion Retail Management
Eligibility: Graduate
Duration: 1 year

7. Fashion Design & Clothing Technology
Eligibility: 10+2
Duration: 1 year evening course

Note: The Candidates appearing for final examination upto 30th June 2008 can also apply provisionally.

The prospectus along with application form can be obtained from selected branches of HDFC Bank Limited. (The list of selected branches is available on NIIFT website) by hand or from Institute on payment of Rs. 200/- by hand or by post through a demand draft in favour of NIIFT, Mohali payable at Mohali.
